I bought these bookends to hold my wine making refrences. As i am a paleontologist by training I thought the fossil angle was just right. They are now atop my equipment cabinet doing an excellant job of holding the refrenced where I can use them.

Love the reviews offered heren which is why I am writing one. The reviews aided in my decision to buy. The bookends are perfect. I didn't want anything cutsy or too dark, these fit the bill. They are marble but they are perfect for a great room sofa table. I was truly pleased and my husband noticed them right away, and he didn't even notice the table they are sitting on until we had it over a year. Must be good, right!?
