These bookends are beautiful and I think would suit a variety of styles of decor. I gave them to my father-in-law for his newly renovated home office, and they look fantastic. They are a bit on the smaller side, smaller than I imagined they'd be, but they are so sturdy that they'll seem to be able to hold lots of books.

These are heavy and beautiful, just perfect showing off books on a shelf. However, they aren't perfectly flat so they don't lean up against the books properly. I'm going to keep them because they are so gorgeous, but wish their intended function worked better.

Overall, I love these bookends. They were smaller than I had expected, but they hold my books securely. I just have to be careful they don't slide off my desk because their bottoms don't have anything to prevent that. I'm thinking about gluing something on that will solve this problem.
